Dark inky hue with a dark violet rim. Blackberry, dark red cherry, anise, tobacco, dried spice and licorice on the nose. Ripe red cherry, black currant, wet tobacco, cooking spices, and a hint of leather on the palate. Full bodied, full acidity, lovely balance. Well integrated tannins that give way after 45-60 minutes. Drinking very well now at a super QPR. Have to think that this would drink for another 5-6 years (possibly more) with proper cellaring. 4.25 stars. Cheers!

Strawberry, condensed milk, pink pepper, vanilla, some smoky and roasted notes as well, a rich nose. Palate: medium- acidity, medium dry, nice silky texture, medium-to-full body. A good wine.
100% Tempranillo from Toro, Spain. Blackcurrant, prune, plum, mint, tobacco, cedar, licorice, pepper, dust. Silky tannins, long finish. Fruit-forward, focused, complex, quite powerful and harmonious.
